Stay in a living ghost town! The Bread House is one of the original houses in Silver Plume, dating back to the 1880s. Recently remodeled, it's been brought back to life—we'd love to share it with you. The Bread House is a quiet, 2-story house with plenty of space to spread out. It's a perfect respite after a day of skiing, hiking, rafting, or fishing, and for a cozy getaway.

The Bread House has beautiful wood floors throughout, bright light, mountain views, and is tastefully decorated with artwork and historic photographs from the boom days of Silver Plume. There is a spacious living room, dining room, kitchen, and full bathroom on the main floor. Upstairs has three bedrooms with mountain views, a parlor, and a bathroom with a shower.

Although recently remodeled, it's still an old house, complete with the occasional creaks, floor slant, and 200+ years of all the "mountain rustic" feels.
