Bread Bar brings you an afternoon of shaking, stirring, learning, and imbibing some of the finest cocktails in the land. Head to Bread on Saturday, December 9th for a cocktail class by the wonderful Alex Jump (real deal bio below!). The $75 ticket includes a lesson in the art and technique of cocktail making, alongside two or three cocktails and additional product sampling. Alex has spent the better part of 15 years working in a variety of roles in the Food & Beverage industry, most recently as the Bar Manager at Death & Company's 2nd outpost in Denver, Colorado. Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, she began her careeer breathing Southern hospitality in a variety of James Beard nominated restaurants. Over the years she has garnered many accolades including Punch’s Bartender in Residence, nominations for Bartender of the Year and Bar Mentor of the year at Tales of the Cocktail's Spirited Awards, Forbes 30 under 30 in the F&B sector, and most recently StarChefs Rising Star Bartender in Denver. In early 2020 Alex joined forces with Lauren Paylor O'Brien to bring Focus on Health to life. Together they are working towards creating better lives for those who work in the food & beverage industry through community outreach, training, and a variety of programming.
